You can tell this place is good when the shop is full of customers waiting for their order to be cooked. My order was taken promptly and the shop works like clockwork. As steady flow of customers having their orders processed so efficiently. I wasn't disappointed with the quality of food, the size of the portions or the price. This is now my go to place for fish and chips when I am in this area.

I have got fish and chips from all 3 shops in New Milton and I love Lin's. The fish and chips is always perfect, so I always go there now. I have visited the other 2 shops twice each and those shops oil was always old, but Lin's is always fresh. I have on several occasion tried to tip Mr Lin as a thank you but he gently and kindly refuses to take extra money so he has integrity. Atmosphere doesn't count as it is take-away only but because of his perfect record I gave it a 5 too.

It doesn’t look much but wow this chippy is brilliant. Camping nearby and rain meant needed a comfort supper. This didn’t disappoint. Best fish and chips I’ve had in years. Crispy batter, perfect chips. No grease and big portion.
